At TAPIT/new works

Ensemble Theater, our youth programs are:

    • Youth centered
    • Inclusive
    •  Multi-disciplinary
    •  Experiential
    • Conducted by professionally, trained teaching artists
    • Designed to provide participants with an educational, non-competitive, rewarding experience

We see youth arts programming as a fun-filled way to provide young people with a solid foundation in multiple artistic disciplines, setting them off on a lifelong exploration of the arts, their own creativity, their world, and themselves.

Here at TAPIT/new works we’re devoted to honoring the past and welcoming the future of an indigenous American art form – tap dance. Over the years we’ve partnered with colleges, universities, extension programs, and independent artists to bring leading lights of rhythm dance to town for lecture-dems, master classes, and workshops. Recent guests include Katherine Kramer, Brenda Bufalino, Jeannie Hill, and Max Pollak.
